Travis Cockrell

Travis Cockrell is an experienced operating executive with nearly two decades at Sulzer, where he held a range of senior leadership roles across operations, general management, and large-scale transformation initiatives. Most recently, Travis served as Vice President of Operations, overseeing 12 operating sites and approximately $185 million in annual revenue, with responsibility spanning safety, execution, and performance across a geographically diverse footprint.
Earlier in his career, Travis led the implementation of a global ERP system across Sulzer’s worldwide operations and served as General Manager of the company’s gas turbines business, gaining deep experience in complex manufacturing environments, capital equipment, and cross-border teams. Throughout his career, he has been known for building disciplined operating systems, developing leaders, and driving results in technically demanding, asset-intensive businesses.
Travis earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
