Mike is the Managing Partner of Guideboat Capital Partners. Mike is currently on the board of Buff City Soap, Scenthound and Franworth and continues to lead all new investment opportunities.

Mike was previously Managing Director and Co-Head of Private Equity at a Dallas based investment firm where he was responsible for sourcing new opportunities and continuously working with management teams to build stakeholder value. Prior to that he was a Partner at JCP Investment Management in Houston, Texas. Before JCP, Mike was based in Medellin, Colombia where he co-founded and served as an operating partner for an agricultural services company owned by mining and infrastructure company, Grupo de Bullet. He started his career in investment banking at Bank of America.  

Mike received an MBA from University of Virginia and a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University.
