Mike is co-lead of business development and research at Guideboat Capital Partners. Previously Mike served as Director, Business Development at Pinecrest Capital Partners.  In his role Mike was responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, assisting with the due diligence and preliminary evaluation of investment opportunities and building an expansive network of relationships within the M&A community.  

Prior to joining Pinecrest, Mr. Mas was an Investment Banker at NorthView Advisors where he sourced and evaluated investment opportunities and developed a board network for NorthView within the (E&P) and technology industries. Before joining NorthView, Mr. Mas served in several roles during his career at Bechtel Corporation where he gained a deep understanding of the energy industry as it relates to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and the downstream sector.  Working both domestically and overseas, Mr. Mas gained significant experience as a project analyst and cost engineer, honing his accounting, analytical and communications skills across various disciplines and levels of management.  

Mr. Mas studied Civil Engineering at Arizona State University and received his BBA in Finance as well as an MS in Construction Management from the University of Houston.
